The Kano State Government has confirmed 29 persons dead from the boat mishap in Bagwai Local Government Area of the state.
This was disclosed by the chairman of the panel of inquiry on the remote cause of the incident, Abubakar Muhammad.
According to Muhammad 29 bodies were recovered while seven others are at Hospital and 14 others are still missing.
The accident which occurred on Tuesday, involved mainly women and children who were coming from Badau Village to Bagwai town.
