The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, says it has intercepted 31,500 liters of Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, being smuggled to Benin Republic.
The acting customs area controller, Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A, Hussein Ejibunu, disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday in Lagos State.
Ejibunu revealed that other contra bound items, valued at N3billion were also seized by Customs.
