The Ex-Acting Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Armstrong Idachaba, says the NBC code is to protect broadcast programme consumers from harm.
Idachaba stated this while speaking to newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
He said that the review of the NBC code every four years is an opportunity for negotiations and to improve broadcasting practice in Nigeria.
The Ex DG urged practitioners to disseminate the truth in order to build a better nation.
