The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has called for stiffer penalties for drug trafficking.
Chairman of the Agency, Buba Marwa, who was represented by the Director, Seaport Operation, Omolade Faboyede, disclosed this during the Institute of Change Management annual dinner held in Lagos State.
Marwa, said fining drug traffickers in court is not enough punishment, stressing that some offenders return to the same business after paying the fine.
The Chairman, however, called for an aggressive reduction in drug supply.
