The Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE, has approved the appointment of the interim management team for Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC.
This was contained in a statement by the Bureau on Thursday.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, and Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE, had sacked the former management team of the Distribution company on the basis of legal processes arising from the failure of the core investor to meet its obligations to a lender
Recall that staff of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC recently embarked on strike leading to total blackout in the Federal Capital City, Abuja and 5 other States.
