Two Thieves Set Ablaze in Akwa Ibom State

Reports say some angry youths have set ablaze two thieve at Ikot Oku Ikono, in Akwa Ibom State.

While confirming the incident, the state Commissioner of Police, Amiengheme Andrew, warned residents not to take the laws into their hands by administering jungle justice on criminal suspects.

Andrew advised residents to hand suspects over to relevant security agencies for diligent investigation and prosecution.

An eyewitness identified as Nyenime Effiong disclosed that the criminals had succeeded in snatching the POS attendant’s bag but luck ran out of them when their getaway motorcycle refused to start.
