Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has charged traditional rulers to work with his administration to strengthen security in the state during and after the Yuletide.
Governor Ikpeazu made the call during the 21st coronation anniversary of the first deputy chairman of State Council of Traditional Rulers in Ohafia Local Government Area of the state.
He commended the traditional ruler and members of his cabinet for ensuring peace and progress in his kingdom.
The Governor stressed that security is a collective responsibility and traditional rulers should set up and sustain structures to ensure peace within their communities and neighboring communities.
