Court orders Ex- South African President back to Prison

South Africa’s High Court has ordered former President, Jacob Zuma to return to jail after setting aside an earlier decision to release him on medical parole,

In the ruling, the presiding Judge, Elias Matojane declared the decision to place Zuma on medical parole as unlawful.

The Department of Correctional Services said it was studying the court judgement and in due course would make further pronouncements.

Meanwhile, the Former President’s legal team is appealing the court’s decision.
