Ohanaeze lauds release of funds for Abia workers

The Pan-Igbo Socio-Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has applauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for the release of over N3.2 billion for payment of salary and pension arrears to workers in the state.

A statement signed on Wednesday by the Secretary-General of the Group, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, reaffirmed the confidence in Ikpeazu and other performing governors in the southeast.

The statement noted that Govenor Ikpeazu has set the pace for the steady growth of the state and remained resolute in his administration’s policies and programmes geared towards enhancing the welfare of the people.
