Kogi police ban use of fireworks across state

Kogi State Police Command has called on parents to caution their children blowing fireworks in any part of the state this Yuletide.

In a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Office, William Aya, warned youths and teenagers to desist from such acts as the police is determined to deal decisively with anybody that cause disturbance of public peace.

The statement noted that anybody caught would be arrested and prosecuted.
