Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has approved the appointment of 3,078 Development Facilitators across the 11 local government areas of the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Ibrahim Njodi who disclosed the approval on Tuesday, revealed that all the appointment takes effect from January 1, 2022.
Njodi said the new appointees would serve as community representatives.
The SSG noted that the appointment is across the 114 wards of the state to facilitate community engagement in the areas of sensitization on government policies and programs between the State and Local Governments.
