The State Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Yusuf Saleh, who announced the ban in an interview with newsmen in Kaduna, said that a circular had been sent to all the Principals and Head Teachers in secondary and primary schools of the state.
Saleh said that the move is to protect school infrastructure from vandals.
The Permanent Secretary added that the ministry is strengthening partnership and collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs and the State Vigilant Service, to provide the needed security in schools.
