Osun State House of Assembly has signed the 2022 Appropriation Bill into law.
Speaking after the passage of the budget, the Speaker of the House, Timothy Owoeye, commended the state legislators and the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation for the effort in considering the 2022 Appropriation Bill.
Owoeye warned that no government agency or ministry should tamper with or alter the official figures in the 2022 budget, stressing that such an act would be taken as a criminal offence which may attract serious legal implications.
The Speaker assured that the House would be alive to its responsibilities while regular interactions would be held with the Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the people on budget performance and feedback.
