Auto Crash Kills Two in Uyo

Akwa Ibom State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, says it has confirmed that two minors have been killed while five others sustained injuries in an auto crash that occurred along Uyo-Ikot Ekpene Express Way.

A statement issued on Monday by the Sector Commander, Matthew Olonisaye in Uyo, the State Capital disclosed that the accident occurred around Ibiakpan junction in Ikot Ekpene local government area of the state.

The statement described the incident as unfortunate attributing the accident to wrong overtaking involving a truck and a motorcycle.

It, therefore, cautioned road users to always obey traffic regulations.
