El Rufai Calls for Burning of Forests to Aid Security

Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has said that forests in the North should be bombed to aid the fight against banditry.

Governor El-Rufai disclosed that bandits operate in the border because their hiding place is in the forest.

He noted that there would collateral damage, assuring that it will later improve the communities’ economy.

The Governor called for more investment in security personnel, technology, and military equipment.
