Imo Government Debunks News of Alleged Arrest of Uzodinma’s Security Officer

Imo State Government has denied news of the alleged arrest of the security officers attached to Governor Hope Uzodinma.

A statement released by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachukwu, stated that news of the alleged arrest is a plot by those believed to be fueling insecurity, particularly kidnapping, and cannibalism in the state.

The statement noted that the entire report is false and a failed attempt to frustrate the State Stakeholders meeting scheduled to hold January 4, 2022.
