IPAC Commends Buhari’s Decision on Electoral Act Bill

Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has commended the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari to withhold assent to the amended Electoral Act Bill.

IPAC National Chairman, Yabagi Sani, stated that the President’s decision was taken in the interest of Nigerians.

Sani stressed that Nigeria does not appear to be sufficiently ripe and prepared for the direct primary model in the selection of political party standard bearers.
