Wike Berates Buhari Over Refusal to Sign Electoral Amendment Bill

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said it was hypocritical for President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the 2022 budget, but declined assent to the Electoral Act Amendment Bill.

This was contained in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, and made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The statement stated the speed at which President Buhari signed the 2022 budget smacks of insensitivity to the plight of ordinary Nigerians.
