The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, says it has arrested over 90 persons for producing fake Covid-19 test results, and other illegal activities.
A statement issued by FAAN Corporate Affairs General Manager, Henrietta Yakubu, stated that the 90 persons were arrested at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, while carrying out nefarious activities.
The statement warned airport staff carrying out illegal duties to desist from such acts, as the Authority will not hesitate to arrest and hand over such individuals for prosecution.
