Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has declared 19 individuals wanted for operating illegal crude oil refining sites in the State.
Wike, in a statewide broadcast also directed the State Head of Service to query the Director of Ministry of Energy, Temple Amakiri for abetting bunkering activities and hand him over to the police for investigation and possible prosecution.
The Governor assured the people of the State that his administration will effectively tackle the soot menace by closing down all identified illegal crude oil refining sites and activities across the state.
