The Imo State Government has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to motorists loading at illegal motor parks in the State.
A statement issued by the General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority, OCDA, Francis Chukwu, disclosed that the closure of the illegal parks in the capital city has become imperative considering the need to ensure total sanity.
The statement directed motorists operating at Government House/Okigwe road to relocate to Amawire Orji, and those at Warehouse/Orlu road should relocate to Egbeada market.
It also directed that Motorist loading at Control post to relocate to an open space at hospital junction along Owerri-Port Harcourt road.
