Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has signed the State 2022 appropriation bill of N270 billion into law.
Governor Zulum assented the bill on Monday at the Council Chamber of the Government House in the presence of the Speaker, Abdulkareem Lawan, and other State Executive Council Members.
The Governor commended the State Legislature for a job well done and advised the commissioners and heads of agencies to be prudent in their spending in line with the provision of the budget.
The State House of Assembly had passed the bill, with an increase of N1.7billion from the N268 billion proposed by the Executive in December, 2021.
