NIS Calls on Traditional Institution to Support Fight Against Insecurity

The Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, has said traditional institutions have a vital role to play in the fight against the insecurity in the country.

NIS Zone B Coordinator, Zainab Lawan made the call at the award presentation to outstanding officers in Jigawa State.

Lawan urged security agencies to support and cooperate with traditional leaders to succeed in the fight against criminality in the country.

She, therefore, implored traditional leaders to support security agencies in the maintenance of peace and unity for national development.
