Uzodinma Places Cash Reward on Bandits

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has promised a cash reward for any group or person that provides useful information to the arrest of bandits within the state.

Governor Uzodimma made the disclosure while addressing the party faithful in Owerri, the state capital.

He maintained that the reign of bandits would be over in the state, especially with the soon to be introduced vigilante at the ward and local government levels across the state.

Recall that since the break-in at the Owerri Correctional Centre in April 2021, the state had come under bouts of insecurity and banditry.
