Ex-Guinean President flown abroad for medical care

Guinea’s deposed President, Alpha Condé, has been flown to the United Arab Emirates, UAE for medical treatment.

According to the government, Conde was allowed to leave Guinea for medical treatment but would not remain abroad for more than a month.

Condé who has been under house arrest since he was ousted in a coup more than four months ago, was accompanied by his Doctor and two bodyguards.
