The Paramount ruler of Vwang, Gyang Balak who was abducted by gunmen in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State has regained freedom from his abductors.
This was confirmed in a statement signed on Tuesday by the Media Officer of Operation Safe Haven, OPSH, Ishaku Takwa, in Jos.
The statement noted that on receiving the report of the abduction, troops of Sector 6 in Riyom were placed on red alert and they began to trail the perpetrators.
It added that two suspects were arrested at an abandoned building during the operation and this development led to the release of the monarch by his abductors.
