Oyo government intensifies action to curtail Lassa Fever cases

Oyo State Government has appealed to residents to remain calm over cases of Lassa Fever in Iwajowa Local Government Area of the State.

A statement issued by the State’s Health Commissioner, Bode Ladipo assured that the authorities were doing everything possible to curtail its spread.

Ladipo disclosed that doses of antiviral agents have been made available and personal protective devices provided to healthcare providers in Iwere Ile and Iganna.

The Commissioner advised citizens to go to the nearest government hospitals for free care and to report any case.
