Lagos State government has acquired two new high-speed trains for its Red Line rail project.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile, disclosed this via a statement issued on Wednesday.
The statement revealed that this is part of efforts to improve traffic management and transportation in the state.
It added that the trains will be heading for the Red Line track rail project which have 11 stations and will be the first operational metro system in West Africa when completed.
