Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has flagged off the digital aerial photography of communities and towns in the state through the Benue Geographic Information Service, BENGIS.
Governor Ortom, who inspected ongoing construction work on the BENGIS Headquarters situated at the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, expressed satisfaction that the project will be completed and commissioned soon.
The Governor said that when completed, BENGIS will be a source of revenue generation for the state, stressing that N500 million will be released by the state government to continue work on the project.
