SDP suspends National Chairman

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, National Executive Council has suspended its National Chairman, Olu Ogunloye for alleged misconduct.

A statement issued by the Party noted that the Deputy Chairman, Adul Isaq, will immediately act as the interim Chairman, while Simon Adesina steps in as the national secretary, pending the outcome of its convention.

The Statement disclosed that the Party National Secretary, Shehu Gabam was also suspended.
