Abducted Bayelsa Commissioner Regains Freedom

Bayelsa State Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, Federal Otokito, who was abducted by unknown gunmen has been released.

Otokito was released following concerted efforts by security agencies in the state.

The Governor, Douye Diri while thanking security agencies and the government for their efforts in ensuring the Commissioner’s freedom, reiterated his government’s zero-tolerance to crime and kidnapping in the state.
