FG condemns Coup d’état in Burkina Faso

The Federal Government has condemned the coup d’état in Burkina Faso.

A statement issued by the Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli, condemned the overthrow of a democratically elected government of President Roch Kabore.

The statement called for the immediate release of President Kabore and other members of his government being detained, and an immediate return to the status quo.
