Ugwuanyi Swears in New Chief Judge

Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has sworn in Afojulu Ozoemena as the new Chief Judge of the State.

Governor Ugwuanyi, during the swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday at the EXCO Chamber of the Government House, Enugu, the State Capital disclosed that the function was sequel to the recommendation by the National Judicial Council and subsequent confirmation of his appointment by the State House of Assembly.

Responding, Justice Ozoemena, thanked the Governor for his endurance and pledged his cooperation and support of the State Judiciary under his watch, stressing they will maintain the tempo of peace and harmonious relationship that exist between the Executive and the Judiciary in the state.
