NBC Grants NYSC Television Broadcast License

The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has granted an operational television broadcast license to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

Director General of NBC, Balarabe Ilela, revealed that with the license, the NYSC would commence Direct Satellite Broadcasting as well as Internet Protocol Television.

Ilela noted that with the approval, the Federal Government would give more voice to the scheme.

The DG added that the NYSC, as one of the successful achievements of the Yakubu Gowon’s administration, has achieved its purpose of uniting the country in several ways.
