Zamfara Police Rescue Kidnap Victims

Zamfara State Police Command has rescued five kidnapped victims in Kontagora and Bangi Local Government Areas of Niger State.

The Command’s Spokesman, Mohammed Shehu, said the victims were rescued by the police tactical operatives during extensive search and rescue operations.

Shehu disclosed that state government medical team is working to ensure that the rescued victims receive appropriate medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Elkanah, sympathized with the victims and assured people of the State that the police will continue to work assiduously to ensure the return of lasting peace and security in the State.
