Katsina State government has announced the closure of all schools in eight local government areas of the state.
The Wazirin Katsina, San Lugga, disclosed this on Monday in Ilorin, Kwara State.
According to Lugga, banditry and insurgency led to the closure of the schools, noting that all district heads of the eight local government areas had relocated to Katsina city for the same reason.
The Wazirin added that two major roads in the State had been closed to vehicular movement due to the activities of bandits.
