Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has charged newly sworn-in permanent secretaries to justify their appointments.
Governor Emmanuel gave the charge while swearing in eight new Permanent Secretaries, at the Banquet hall, government house, Uyo, the state capital.
He urged them to work hand in hand with Executive Council members in charge of the various ministries to drive the attainment of his administration’s agenda.
The Governor added that the position of Permanent Secretary is a special appointment that required tested personnel, found worthy in character and experience.
