The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has ordered the blockage of all major roads in all states across the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by NANS President, Asefon Sunday; and Secretary-General, Adekitan Lukman.
The statement noted that the decision to block all major roads was agreed upon by all organs of the students’ body.
It added that the extension of stay on campus did not only affect the academic journey of students but destabilize their life plans.
Recall that ASUU President, Emmanuel Osodeke, said ASUU National Executive Council resolved to embark on the strike as the government has failed to implement the Memorandum of Action it signed in December 2020.
