Court Extends Detention Order on Kyari

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has extended the detention of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.

In her ruling, the Presiding Judge, Zainab Abubakar ordered that Kyari be detained further by 14 days.

Justice Abubakar granted permission to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to hold the embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, for the period to enable the Agency complete its investigation into the hard drug trafficking allegations against him.
