The Federal government has directed filmmakers to drop money ritual content from their movies.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed confirmed the new move during a media visit in Abuja.
He said some of the suspected ritual killers arrested confessed that they learnt the ritual killings act on social media.
The Minister also said many have blamed Nollywood for featuring money rituals in some of its movies, noting that this has negatively influenced the vulnerable youth.
