House of Reps Recommends Immunity for Senate President

The House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review has recommended immunity for Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives and heads of judiciary.

This was disclosed in the constitution amendment bill presented by the Chairman of Constitution Review Committee, Ahmed Wase, on Wednesday.

The report said that since the executive was enjoying immunity, the legislature and the judiciary should also benefit.
