Akwa Ibom Government Secures Bail for Six Inmates

AkwaIbom State Government has secured bail for six inmates convicted across the three senatorial districts of the state.

In a statement signed by the State Public Relations Officer of the Correction Service, Ogbajie Ogbajie, disclosed that the bail bond was paid by the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Ini Adiakpan.

The statement stated that the Commissioner’s action was in fulfillment of the promise she made when she visited the correctional centers in the state.

It advised the inmates to steer clear of activities that would bring them back to the custodial centers.
