Department of State Services, DSS, has warned the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, IyorchiaAyu, against making unguarded remarks against it and other Security Agencies in the Country.
A statement issued by the DSS Spokesman, Peter Afunanya, frowned at Ayu’s comment, saying PDP would not use the Secret Police to harass Nigerians if it returns to power in 2023.
The statement considered Ayu’s comment as unjustified, unfair, and preposterous, noting that DSS remains neutral and transparent in carrying out its duties.
It enjoined politicians to desist from making unguarded utterances with tendencies to breach public order.
