Ngige Claims Lack of Fund to Meet ASUU’s Demand

The Minister of Labour, Employment and Productivity, Chris Ngige, has said the Federal Government lack funds to meet its responsibilities in the agreement signed with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Ngige made this known in an interview with newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

The Minister noted that in the effort to end the ongoing strike by the Union, the government was considering a renegotiation of the terms of the agreement.
