Civil Society Organizations in Imo State have joined other women organizations across the country in protesting against the rejected gender related bill.
Speaking at a mega rally at the State House of Assembly, a Gender Advocate, Angela Nkwolu, notes that the protest is an expression of displeasure over the rejection of the gender bill.
Speaking further, Nkwolu, states that women involvement in governance will improve the economy of the country.
A woman right activist, Blessing Okparaocha, urges the 9th Assembly to include women in their decision.
