The National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, has placed an indefinite suspension on its Lagos State chapter Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as Mc Oluomo.
A letter signed by NURTW’s General Secretary, Kabiru Yau, revealed that Akinsanya was suspended over alleged misconduct, insubordination, and inciting members of the state chapter against its national body.
The letter, therefore, directed the Chairman to hand over to his deputy chairman and release all property belonging to the union in his possession.
Meanwhile, MC Oluomo, has announced the withdrawal of members of the state’s council, including himself, from the national body.
