The Federal Government has inaugurated the construction of some housing units in Delta State.
President Muhammadu Buhari who was represented by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola at the inauguration ceremony said, the economic policies and investment in infrastructures such as the National Housing Programme will impact positively on the lives of many Nigerians.
According to the Government, the building contracts were awarded in November, 2016 at a total cost of N737million and rose to N1.2billion as a result of other contracts such as drainage, electricity, among others.
