Ikpeazu Seals Shops in Cemetery Market

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate sealing of some shops in Zone 11 of Cemetery Market in Aba.

The State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, John Kalu, revealed that the sealing of the shops followed safety concerns over structural defects observed by Inspectors.

Kalu noted that Governor Ikpeazu, directed the setting up of a committee to review the structural integrity of buildings located in major markets in the state.

The Commissioner assured that the Governor will prioritize the welfare of traders, as Trade and Commerce is one of the pillars of his administration.
