Lagos Government Suspends NURTW

Lagos State government has suspended the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Union, NURTW across the state.

The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, who announced the suspension, directed officials of the Union to stay away from all parks and garages.

Omotoso noted that the government directed the setting up a committee to take control of the parks and garages, adding that members of the committee will be key stakeholders in the sector.
