Court Orders Former Chief of Naval Staff to Refund 57million Naira to FG

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered a former Chief of Air Staff, Mohammed Dikko, to refund N57m to the Federal Government, within seven days.

In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Nnamdi Dimgba, held that the sum, which was used for the renovation of a personal property that belonged to Dikko, should be returned to the coffers of the Nigerian Air Force.

Justice Dimgba noted that the N57m was transferred into an account belonging to Capital Law Office and used for the renovation of the former Chief of Air Staff’s property in Asokoro Extension Abuja.
